I own and operate 3plains, which delivers web solutions, custom digital products and marketing services for businesses in key vertical markets with multiple websites properties. The group I employ are some of of the best, loyal and of the same values that are important to me. I have a variety of outside the box development projects I'm working on at any given time and really enjoy building out new ideas.
I have been involved in the Organic SEO game since 2002 when I took my first job. I didn't even know SEO was a "thing" but I did know my boss was pretty ticked off that one of our flagship websites was not #1 in Google for a keyword phrase. I was taken back a bit that he could be that pissed off about something beyond my control- or could I control it? This incident set me off on a quest to figure out the search engine algorithms and to wrap my brain around the elusive Google "black box" ranking formula.
Here are a few old screenshots from 2003 when I was first introduced into the SEO process and the industry. These screenshots were a starting point, to show our CEO what the Google SERPS were all about and to show where our website (pheasantcountry.com) sat in Google and why.
